Quality or Ink saving mode
Sometimes ( especially with laser printers ) quality of watermarks is
not really nice.
Or printer may produce wrong output, despite preview window shows
correct results. It may be because of bug in printer driver or limited
functionality implemented in driver.
In this case priPrinter may generate complete image in memory and send
it to printer. In that case we can avoid almost all problems in driver
and provide most accurate results.
1. In order to enable this feature let's click on
printer configuration icon holding Shift key:
2. Options for your printer will be opened. Here you
should select
Print As Bitmap mode.
3. In result of this selection more options will
appear. You may leave everything as is. Or may change them later. DPI
here is the resolution of image in memory. Higher DPI, more memory it
will take and slower it will be transferred to printer. In most cases 300
is right choice.
However please note that printer itself should operate at highest
possible DPI. In that case printer will be able to output color
gradients in the best possible way and will interpolate them more
accurate. As an example see
Options
for HP Laser Jet printer.
4. Now, after clicking OK background of printer icon
will be changed to color dots. It shows that your printer is in raster
mode.

Please note that for network printers this mode may be little bit
slow! For local printers speed is almost the same, sometimes it works
faster, sometimes slower.
5. In addition to this mode you may enable ink or
toner saving mode. Just drag slider in order to change saving level.
This implemented as post process filter and possible only in
Print as bitmap mode. Filter removes continuous dark areas but
preserves edges. It works better with pages full of dark graphics.
